Megan Walters: From her earliest memories, Megan knew she wanted to help people for a living. Initially
aiming to get her Ph.D. at the University of Missouri, she shifted gears when she learned how to help people in a meaningful way through
real estate.
Outside of work, Megan unwinds with her two pups, Nash and Yogi. She’s especially proud of her work
with shelter dogs - like Yogi. Charitable work is a huge part of Megan’s life, and some of the events she has
organized include, “Yappy Hour” – a happy hour at a local brewery where agents bring their furry friends, mingle amidst local businesses, and team up with animal shelters to bring awareness to the community
while meeting adoptable pups! When she is not working alongside her husband through other Entrepreneurial business ventures, she spends the remainder of her time organizing charity drives to help the less fortunate - sponsoring supplies
for newly-arrived refugees, winter gear for the homeless, and school supplies for students in need. As the Co-Founder of Camacho Coffee Roastery, she and her husband are proud to give back 10% tocharitable causes quarterly. Megan has been giving back to her community from a very early age and won’t stop anytime soon.
Sarah Cyr: Sarah Cyr is a certified whole health business coach and Program Manager for the Mo Women's Business Center. She had a J.D. in law, a psychology BA and she has five coaching certifications. Sarah started her first business in 2003, former Columbia restaurant, The Wine Cellar & Bistro. While managing the bistro she was certified by The Court of Master Sommeliers, and developed an award-winning wine list featuring organic and biodynamic wine. She says the key to running a successful restaurant for 15 years was to provide excellent hospitality, to understand your numbers and profit, and to consistently deliver an unique and connected dining experience. Running the restaurant taught her how to persevere as an entrepreneur.
After 15 years, she sold her restaurant business and simultaneously created and sold an online business dedicated to travel and dining. She went on to receive her additional coaching certifications over the next two years. She is certified in health and wellness, relationships, business coaching, and general life coaching. Sarah also has a private coaching practice focused on helping clients set custom goals and achieve them. Sarah Cyr Coaching, LLC.
Sarah's passion for coaching can be traced back to law school, where she received her J.D. Her concentrations in law were competing on the negotiation team and specializing in mediation. Helping clients come to a resolution so they could move forward in life was her first lesson in coaching. Prior to law school she also received her BA in psychology at Central College in Fayette, where she studied pre-law and business. Looking back, that was the time in her life where she learned that helping people achieve more is a skill and a passion. Whether looking to improve their health, their life, or their business, clients thrive in one on-one sessions. After coaching, clients often report back saying things like, “This changed everything for me, I am so thankful,” or “I feel like I struck gold,” and “I didn't know this was possible.”
