Hiring employees with disabilities & serving customers with disabilities
As we, as business leaders, seek to expand our reach and make our businesses more successful, sooner or later we are going to encounter someone with a disability. Whether we are considering that person for an open position or serving them as a customer in our businesses, it is important to be mindful not only of the differences we may perceive, but also the similarities that we might be overlooking. At the next Business Leaders Forum, we will be discussing best practices for recruiting, hiring and retaining employees with disabilities as well as serving customers with disabilities.
Our discussion will be facilitated by Heather Stewart, Services for Independent Living, and Liz Sensintaffar, Woodhaven.
