Join us for the July luncheon\, “View Disability as Possibility” and hear Sarah’s story as she shares with us her journey of success. Sarah will also share her perspective on disability\, stereotypes and challenges she faces. She’ll speak on obstacles in employment for people with disabilities\, including society’s perception of disability and getting over those barriers. Sarah has become an active advocate for people with disabilities\, serving as President of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association Board of Directors and as a member of the United States Olympic Committee Athlete Advisory Council. Additionally\, Sarah is a four-time Paralympian\, has won multiple medals at World Championships and the ParaPan American Games\, as well as other international and national competitions in both swimming and wheelchair basketball.
