SUMMARY:WN Professional Development Luncheon February 2020
DESCRIPTION:Presented by:\n\n\n\n\n\nWelcome Sponsor:\n\nChristian Chapel Academy\n\nFor the past several months\, Women's Network Chair Krista Kippenberger has reminded members to give their Best Yes. This includes making your voice heard in your community and making your vote count. Especially in an election year\, knowing how to be properly civically engaged is critical. Becoming civically engaged will give you the tools to be better leaders and empowered members in our community. \n\n \n\nJoin us for the February Women's Network Professional Development Luncheon on Thursday\, February 20 to learn how to be civically engaged from Boone County Clerk Brianna Lennon. She will explain how our seemingly small acts of voting in elections and filling out the census can have big impacts on our local community\, state and nation. Columbia Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee Co-Chair\, and past Women's Network Chair\, Heather Hargrove will also provide attendees with a Chamber legislative update.\n\n\n\nAdvance registration is appreciated. Online pre-registration is $20 for members and $25 for guests until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday\, February 18. After the pre-registration deadline\, attendees can register/pay at the door. Prices will be $25. We hope to see you there!
