SIL has been providing supports and services that empower to individuals to maximize their independence and reduce that vulnerability for 35 years. Did you know that SIL merged with Boone County Council on Aging (BCCA)? It only make sense that two organization so focused on independence would come together to increase access to services. We are all aging and/or have aging parents that at some point may need assistance to live independent stay in their home\, even if it just navigating the maze of services in our community. The merger has unified two organizations goals of providing high quality services that will keep people living in their own home and connected to the community.
