DESCRIPTION:Lunching Outside the Box is inviting you\, your coworkers and bosses to "Come Build With Us." Hear from someone who is in charge of hundreds of employees talk about the importance of being a team in the workplace. Bob Schaal is the Executive Director of the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute. Throughout his career\, he has stressed the importance of his employees being a "team" and has deployed team building activities to build comradery between employees. Schaal will talk to us about what team building activities he has done and the importance/goal of the activities are. We will also be participating in a team building activity.\n\n \n\nWhen you attend this event\, you will get to build everything yourself. From your lunch to learning how you can build better relationships through communication\, you have multiple methods to learn how to grow as an employee\, coworker and person.\n\n\n\nEPIC encourages you to bring your office mates and bosses with you. It is a great way to learn about an activity and bring it to your office. He holds complete accountability for the operations and results at MOI\, as well as all therapy services and DME throughout the University of Missouri Health Care system. He is also responsible for providing vision and leadership to move MOI forward with its mission\, vision and achievement of its annual and long-range strategic goals for quality\, people\, service\, growth\, community and finance. \n\n\n\nBob's previous professional experience include several years in physical therapy private practice in which his practice grew into one of the largest regional physical therapy providers in Missouri. Upon leaving private practice\, Bob served in executive-level leadership roles for a start-up national rehabilitation company in which he was responsible for development and operations of new facilities\, services\, programs\, and product lines.
