Amy began working at the Bureau in 2007 as their Sales Manager and was promoted to Director in November 2011. Prior to working for the CVB she worked in the hotel industry where she held a variety of positions\, including sales manager\, catering manager\, assistant general manager and general manager. She moved to Columbia in 1989 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of MO School in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She has been involved in several industry organizations including the Society of Government Meeting Planners\, Missouri Society of Association Executives\, Missouri Travel Council and Columbia Hospitality Association. \n\n \n\nAmy will share her insight on planning a vacation\, why vacations are important both professionally and personally\, helpful tips for planning a vacation a budget\, as well as inside tips on preparing an exciting stay-cation.\n\n\n \n\nThe lunch will be held from 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Dulany Hall Banquet Room on the Columbia College Campus (600 N 8th St).
