DESCRIPTION:EPIC's Cooking Class: A Taste of Mardi Gras Cuisine\n\n \n\nJoin fellow emerging professionals at the Columbia Area Career Center on Friday\, February 15 from 6:30-9p.m. for a fun filled evening of cooking lessons\, networking\, eating and more!\n\nSpace is limited for this event\, so register now! Tickets are $30\, and includes over an hour of cooking instruction\, a full meal\, and a night of networking with other young professionals.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nDetails:\n\nEPIC will host a happy hour from 5-6:15p.m. prior to the cooking class. \n\nEnjoy happy hour specials at 44 Stone Public House (3910 Peachtree Dr Ste H). 44 Stone will host us in the Pub Room\, and will have a New Orleans Themed drink to help kick off our night of cooking!\n\n(Everyone is responsible for their own tab\, but they will have specials for our group) \n\n \n\nMenu:\n\nShrimp Henein on Crostini\n\nVodka smoked salmon with dill cr me fraiche on buttermilk bilni's with trout caviar\n\nWonton crisp w/seared sesame crusted tuna with kimchee\, honey and ginger sauce\n\nBlack Bean cakes with chorizo guacamole and Pico de Gallo\n\nBeignets\n\n \n\nThis Cajun feast will provide a unique cooking class\, and a fun meal. The lead instructor will be Chef Jeff Rayl. \n\nChef Jeff graduated from the Culinary Art Institute in Scottsdale Arizona and has a Bachelor's of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Missouri State University. He was the executive chef at Illini Country Club in Springfield Illinois and the Kitchen Manager at Houlihan's in Kansas City before coming to teach at the Columbia Area Career Center.\n\n \n\n \n\nEveryone must wear close toed shoes\, and arrive prior to 6:30 to ensure the cooking instruction portion starts on time.
